Feeling Like A Champion

It's Monday! I need to apologize to my readers (all 3 of you) for last week's paucity of posting. I was busy, I was grumpy, and I lacked inspiration. Not to worry, dear readers, I have returned full-force, and today's post will be a recap of my weekend, followed by a week of exciting topics! This week, look for a post on dishwasher loading (per reader request!), a few recipes, and what in the heck all those vacuum attachments are for!

This weekend was the regional competition for my horse show association. I competed against the three girls in my class in Western horsemanship. Y'all, this class was tough - we all had pretty evenly matched horses, so it came down to a close finish. I had all but given up on the season - I was tired, burnt out, and grouchy. BUT.....

BLING BLING!

I came out region champion!

With my super-awesome coach!

SO SO EXCITED! The next step is semifinals in Kentucky - I will be seeing a lot of my trainer between now and then, that's for sure!

Yesterday, I took my super sweet man to brunch with my parents, my brother, my sis-in-law, and my oh-so-sweet baby nephew. Deliciousness was had by all at Three Blind Mice. Great little place in Lilburn - if you're local, go eat there...you won't be sorry. Then the man and I went shopping for some ammo (like you do) and grabbed some coffee, a nap, and a trip to the grocery store. Dear readers, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT take your hungry man and your hungry, exhausted self to the grocery store. You will spend all your money and buy all the things, and it will take you an hour and a half to do so. Planning is important. Nevertheless, I have food to cook this week and a few sweet treats that my hunger made me buy.

I'm not sure yet what I'm making for dinner - may be flying by the seat of my pants on this one, but if it turns out good, I'll probably post it.

See y'all tomorrow!

P.S. Feel free to request topics - I will gladly cover anything under the sun!
